These are some of the most comfortable pants I've had the chance to wear. The cut is very well thought out, making the pants fit well and not restrict movement. The Rip-Stop material feels durable and handles everyday use well. The large number of pockets is really useful and allows you to have all the essentials at hand. The Jungle Green color looks very good both outdoors and for everyday use. Definitely a model worth its price.
Helikon-Tex UTP PolyCotton Rip-Stop Pants - Crimson Sky/Ash Grey
The modern UTP (Urban Tactical Pants) are crafted from high-grade PolyCotton RipStop material enhanced with a hint of elastane (60% cotton, 37% polyester, 3% elastane), offering exceptional durability against abrasion and tearing, while remaining lighter in weight and providing quicker drying times compared to pure cotton fabrics. An abundance of strategically placed pockets ensures outstanding functionality for urban environments and reliable performance during outdoor excursions.
Above-average freedom of movement and durability
A perfect balance between tactical and everyday apparel – a low-profile appearance combined with the practicality of combat footwear.
Modern tailoring, precise seams, and the chosen material grant exceptional durability and freedom of movement.
12 capacious pockets
Designed with twelve pockets, these pants offer extensive storage options:
- two standard hip pockets featuring reinforced edges
- four thigh pockets—two spacious ones secured with zippers and two slimmer ones fastened by Velcro
- four rear pockets comprising two large Velcro-closed pouches and two narrower pockets integrated within the wider ones
- two internal pockets at groin height intended for convenient carrying of a tactical flashlight or spare magazine
Additionally, knee-level inner pockets along the legs are present, allowing for the insertion of protective pads
Easy fit of the pants to the figure
A wide Velcro closure replaces the traditional button, providing up to 6 cm of waist adjustment. The waistband incorporates an elastic band for an enhanced, personalized fit to the wearer’s physique.
Additional loops have been integrated into the two lower front belt loops, offering attachment points for accessories such as a carabiner.

The pants are great, they work both at the shooting range and in the garden. There is just one "but": a high polyester content, as much as 22%, makes the body not breathe on warm and hot days. Other than that, no complaints.
-
Comfortable, incredibly durable and spacious. The Rip-Stop material really works in the field, and in this color, they don't stand out in the city. The pockets are perfectly thought out – everything is at hand.
-
Helikon UTP pants are brilliant tactical pants. They are very comfortable, fit great, and have a fantastic pocket layout. The material is very durable. I recommend them.
-
Very comfortable trousers for everyday wear and various activities. The PolyCotton Rip-Stop material is solid, fits well on the body, and does not easily catch minor damage. The trousers have a comfortable cut, do not pinch, and do not restrict movement even during long walks or work on your knees. The pocket arrangement suits me very well – I have everything quickly at hand, and at the same time, the trousers do not seem too bulky. The Ash Grey color is universal and looks neat both in the city and outdoors. After washing, they did not lose their shape. The only downside is that in high temperatures during summer, they can be a bit too warm.
-
Recommendable trousers, lightweight, well-made, with a large number of pockets whose placement and size are almost perfect, at least in my opinion. How durable they are will become clear over time. For now, after several washes and a few weeks of wearing, there is nothing to complain about.
-
Very comfortable, they allow freedom of movement with little restriction (one size larger than usual was chosen), even when carrying a concealed handgun. The pockets are spacious and easily accessible, which works well both for everyday use and in professional service. After a month of intensive use, they still show good durability.
-
The trousers are comfortable and the size is right, but I have some concerns about the quality – after the first wash I noticed a hole in the leg, so maybe I received a defective product.
-
In my opinion, these are some of the best pants from Helikon-Tex. Useful for everyday wear thanks to their functionality with a large number of pockets and solid workmanship. I recommend them!
-
I could wear them every day. Great pants, extremely comfortable and wonderfully ergonomic. The pockets are useful for everyday use in the city, but at the same time, they are not obviously military in style. The only downside for me is that the legs are too wide for the city, but after a slight narrowing, they are perfect.
-
The pants are fine, the sizes given in the table match reality. Personally, I prefer the Stormstretch model, but these pants have their advantages – thanks to the elastic and Velcro, you don't have to unfasten them. The pockets on the legs are narrow enough to perfectly fit a small smartphone.
-
I have tested a lot of Helikon UTP pants, including shorts – I have nothing to complain about, they are great, and now my brother, who immediately wanted two pairs, will enjoy their quality and comfort. I recommend them.
-
I have several pairs of Helikon UTP Rip-stop or canvas pants and I'm very satisfied with them. Now my brother envied me these pants and I had to order him two pairs right away. I truly recommend them.
-
The trousers are functional, and thanks to the ripstop fabric, they withstand minor snags well. There are many pockets and all of them are comfortable to use – they easily hold a phone, tools, or keys. The Shadow Grey color doesn't stand out in an urban environment. The included belt allows you to start wearing the trousers immediately after purchase. However, when the pockets are heavily stuffed, the trousers feel significantly heavier. On hot days, they may be a bit too warm, as the material is not very light.
-
The pants are very comfortable, with the standard pocket layout typical for Helikon. They are a bit stretchy, so nothing rubs. A downside is the material, which wears out really quickly—after two weeks, the edges of the pockets are already white. But that's the only drawback.
