Excellent tent for one person! The Highlander Blackthorn Gen. 2 is lightweight, quick to set up, and provides good protection from wind and rain. A great choice for solo trips.
Highlander Forces Blackthorn Gen. 2 1- Person Tent - Scarab Green
Designed for solo expeditions, this 1-person tent boasts a lightweight, low-profile build, crafted from robust and damage-resistant 190T polyester. The flysheet is finished with a polyurethane coating and equipped with glued seams, ensuring 2000 mm/m2 water resistance. The second-generation model introduces an enhanced structure along with a durable carry bag featuring a Roll-Top closure.
Fiberglass frame, increased fire resistance
Enhanced fire-retardant properties significantly improve user safety in the tent. A reinforced floor with a water resistance rating of 3000 mm/m2 effectively insulates against moisture from the ground. The frame structure utilizes lightweight yet robust fiberglass poles measuring 6.9 mm in diameter. Thanks to a system of clips and mounting points, the tent can be rapidly and efficiently assembled, even under challenging conditions.
Lockable vestibule, built-in mosquito net, clothes line
The tent entrance features a secure zip closure. A lockable vestibule serves as practical storage space for gear or personal items. An integrated mosquito net enhances user comfort and usability. A clothesline is positioned inside the tent for drying garments or equipment.
Transport sack
Supplied with a durable transport sack, facilitating convenient carrying and storage of the tent. The sack is equipped with a Roll-Top closure, providing reliable protection against moisture.

I ordered on Saturday, it arrived to me on Thursday, delivery was free, also with payment at the pickup point, overall great for a first order. The tent is well made, compact, and quite light. The maximum comfortable height is 180cm. Inside, it feels like being in a cocoon. You also need a mat and ideally a cocoon-shaped sleeping bag with it.

The tent is really compact when packed and it's really lightweight. It fits in a 40l backpack and there's still room for a sleeping bag and a self-inflating pad. I recommend it.

Delivery to Ukraine took about 5 days, the tent is interesting, I like it. My height is 180 cm, if you lie on a thin mat "karimat" it's fine, but if you use an inflatable mattress - it's tight, my head and feet touch the inner tent, but it's still possible to sleep, there's enough air, the distance from the outer to inner tent is large. The stitching is good, the outer tent seems to be siliconized on the inside, so it's important to dry it well after a trip. The weight is as described, if you replace the metal pegs (their weight is 380g for 19 pcs) with aluminum ones, the total weight will be about 1600 grams. Getting in and out is inconvenient, it’s like a sports car, inside there is a hook for a lantern and a pocket for things. A standard rectangular mat won’t fit, you need a cocoon-shaped mat with cut corners. The camouflage is nice, not too bright, but more suited to autumn and spring. Despite the downsides - I’m satisfied with the purchase.
