Magnesium flint for quickly starting a fire outdoors. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it fits easily in a pants or jacket pocket. With its help, you can light, for example, a gas stove, a camping stove, or a campfire, which is a source of heat and makes it possible to prepare a meal away from home.

The whole set consists of a magnesium block connected to a flint and a spark-striking plate. After scraping magnesium shavings from the block using the striker, the knife spine, or any other tool with a sharp edge, you then strike sparks onto the previously collected shavings until they ignite. One motion allows sparks with a temperature of 3000 deg C to be produced, which, when falling onto previously prepared tinder, will create a flame even during severe frost or heavy rain.

The flint is equipped with a ball chain that allows it to be attached to keys or a backpack.

Do not rely solely on this product, because using it alone is quite difficult – the scraper and ferro rod are of average quality. However, as a magnesium block for shaving chips and as support for other fire starters, it works well, and the scraper and rod can be treated as a backup.
