Electric replica machine gun JG801 is constructed from a combination of metal and plastic. The upper receiver, aiming devices, and outer barrel utilize metal components, while the lower receiver and the stock pad are made from durable plastic. Steel is used for the magazine and several small mounting elements.
The standard front grip has been swapped for one featuring three 22mm RIS rails, enabling the attachment of additional equipment such as a tactical flashlight or laser sight. Additionally, the replica incorporates an adjustable stock with a rubberized, non-slip buttplate for enhanced stability.
Both sides of the fire selector are marked with graphic indicators for the mode of fire. Access to the HU chamber is provided in the usual way—by retracting the Hop handle. Mechanical aiming devices are situated on the top rail of the replica.
