Ka-Bar 1480 TDI Law Enforcement Knife Straight Edge. My favorite knife. It fits perfectly on a 4.5 cm wide belt. I wear it all the time. Sharp, sleek, and handy. Easy to draw from the sheath.
The black TDI Law Enforcement Knife features a smooth blade and is manufactured by the renowned brand Ka-Bar. Designed by John Benner, founder of the Tactical Defense Institute, leader of the American Drug Task Force, and former SWAT team commander, the TDI LAW model was created specifically for law enforcement officers. Compact, lightweight, and exceptionally sharp, the KA-BAR TDI knife is built for performance in the field.
Engineered with a full tang structure, the knife showcases a Drop Point blade crafted from a single piece of AUS 8A steel, finished with a black, non-reflective coating. The ergonomically designed handle, constructed from Zytel®, features a non-slip texture for a secure grip, styled to be held much like a pistol.
Accompanying the knife is a tactical sheath in black, equipped with a black metal clip (1480CLIP) suitable for mounting on either the inside or outside of a belt. The sheath provides secure retention and enables rapid deployment of the knife when needed.
The set also comes with two replacement screws for the sheath and an Allen key.

Ka-Bar is a brand whose history dates back to the late 19th century, and which gained real fame during World War II, when the Fighting Utility model was officially adopted by the US Marine Corps. The durable and versatile knife quickly became legendary, proving itself both in combat and in the daily tasks of soldiers. The name Ka-Bar itself comes from the 1920s, when a trapper described in a letter how he managed to “kill a bear” with a Union Cutlery knife. In 1952, wanting to emphasize the power of this symbol, the company officially changed its name to Ka-Bar Knives Inc., and its products are still considered a model of reliability today. An important chapter in the brand's history is also its collaboration with Ethan Becker, which resulted in the Becker series, highly valued by users, combining practical solutions with a modern approach to knife design.

Very good knife design for defense when your health or life is seriously threatened. The short blade is fine for its intended function and allows for quick maneuvering if necessary. A secure grip, as long as you do not change your hold. However, I would like to point out that it could be perfect, but in my opinion, it has one drawback—a hard and therefore slippery handle. The texturing doesn't help much here. As long as the grip is firm, it sits well in the hand, but if you change grip, due to the hard and relatively slippery handle, it may slip out. It arrived not very sharp, although that's not a big problem since you can easily sharpen it yourself. Very good sheath and clip, though quite heavy for such small dimensions. Overall, I recommend it. Maybe one of the best 'last chance' knives.

I recommend this small defensive knife. It fits different gear. Well made, flawless. The grip is comfortable in the hand and easy to draw. Sharp.

A handy knife with a very good sheath and a belt attachment system. The steel is very hard, so you have to put in some effort to sharpen it. The only drawback is that when you reach for the knife, you can't grab it fully with your hand because it is too deeply hidden in the sheath, so you have to adjust your grip a bit when taking it out.

Very handy little knife. Fits well in the hand and does not slip. The blade isn’t the biggest, but it works great as an EDC. The sheath with the excellent clip is a definite plus—it holds really well, even on the inside of your pants. I honestly recommend it. My only comment is about the sharpness. It’s not bad, but after unpacking, you need to sharpen it a few times.

Ideal for concealed carry as a backup. The sheath is great, but from the very beginning I knew I would be getting a custom one from the States. Very ergonomic.
-
Very good and specific little knife, fits well in the hand, high quality workmanship, does not rust, perfect size for everyday civilian work.
-
Decent quality, sits comfortably in the hand in a 'reverse grip.'
-
Very handy and sharp.
-
This is not a universal knife, and that should be kept in mind. For self-defense or cutting, it's simply perfect.
-
Great solution, you can hide it with a thicker belt.
-
A bit smaller than I expected, nice quality.
-
Great knife, worth its price.
-
Small, light and does the job!
-
A very handy fixed blade knife, ideal for EDC. It is especially recommended for shooters - pistol users because the knife's grip angle is very similar to the grip angle of a personal weapon, e.g. police. Additionally, KA-BAR is a legend in itself. I RECOMMEND!!
