Damage-resistant construction, aluminum clamps, steel guide
The base is constructed from steel, finished with premium powder coating and fitted with adjustable stands to guarantee stable placement during operation. Featuring a slide with an 8 mm diameter and a surface roughness of 0.4 Ra, it is crafted from alloy steel known for its exceptional resistance to wear. Clamps are produced from 7075 aluminum alloy and undergo additional heat treatment to enhance durability.
Quick angle adjustment mechanism, toothed rail, tilt adjustment
An innovative mechanism enables rapid adjustment of the sharpening angle, relying on a toothed guide rail for precision. The hinged carriage glides along the rail as the knob is turned, granting instant and accurate angle changes with a single motion. The system incorporates a built-in hook and a quick-release rotary head frame, making it possible to inspect the knife's cutting edge without dismounting it from the clamps. Additionally, a locking function is available for the rotary unit.
An assembly for adjusting the tilt of the entire unit in the vertical plane offers tailored positioning to suit user preferences. Positioned on the rail, the upper hole with an M8 thread accommodates the installation of a lighting system. A dedicated slot for an electronic protractor is also included in the model.
