Kazak UBR sharpening system

Engineered for sharpening knives of various shapes and sizes, the device guarantees precision and stability when securing the knife within the clamps. Efficiently, knives can be rotated without the need for removal. Sharpening is quick, secure, and demands no advanced skills from the operator.

In the design, the grinding angle adjustment utilizes a toothed rail, enabling the hinged carriage to move smoothly as the knob is rotated. This feature allows for fast and accurate modification of the sharpening angle. A vertical angle adjustment unit for the entire system ensures customization to meet individual preferences. The sharpening stone accommodated by the device can have a maximum length of 250 mm.

The guide bar, featuring a diameter of 8 mm and a surface finish of 0.4 Ra, is crafted from alloyed steel known for its exceptional resistance to wear. The one-piece clamps are constructed from 7075 aluminium alloy and undergo additional heat treatment to enhance durability.

The temperature classifications for the Hamar sleeping bag are established according to EN 13537 standards:

• T-comfort: 4 deg. C – the lowest temperature at which a woman is able to sleep comfortably throughout the night,
• T-limit: -1 deg. C – the minimum temperature where a man can sleep through the night without feeling cold,
• T-extreme: -16 deg. C – the lowest temperature enabling survival inside the sleeping bag; not advised for routine use.
