Kershaw Bareknuckle DuraLock Folding Knife - OD Green

Folding everyday carry (EDC) knife with a robust, ergonomic construction and contemporary looks. Drawing inspiration from the renowned Zero Tolerance 0777, the design incorporates a streamlined silhouette and lightweight build. The Bareknuckle features a Sheepsfoot-style blade crafted from CPM MagnaCut steel, delivering exceptional durability and outstanding resistance to both wear and corrosion, while the blade’s black coating minimizes glare and improves performance. An olive green aluminum handle ensures a reliable and comfortable grip, and the ambidextrous thumb stud paired with the DuraLock mechanism provides smooth handling and enhanced operational safety.

CPM MagnaCut steel

Forged from CPM MagnaCut powdered stainless steel hardened to 62-64 HRC, the blade delivers outstanding wear and corrosion resistance while offering exceptional resistance to chipping and cracking. Enhanced by a black PVD coating, the surface offers superior scratch protection, heightened corrosion resistance, and reduced reflectivity.

blade with modified Sheepsfoot profile, flat grind, thumb stud

Equipped with a modified Sheepsfoot profile, the blade measures 89 mm in length and 3 mm in thickness. A high flat grind enhances the blade’s cutting efficiency while ensuring sufficient strength for demanding use. The precisely finished, sharp tip is ideal for cutting tasks that require exceptional precision.

A KVT ball bearing system guarantees smooth blade deployment, greatly minimizing operational resistance and enabling rapid, one-handed opening via the thumb stud.

Aluminum handle, deep-carry clip

Featuring an ergonomically contoured handle crafted from anodized aluminum in OD Green, this everyday carry knife strikes an optimal balance between structural strength and low weight. The deep-carry clip ensures the knife can be carried discreetly and securely, with ambidextrous mounting options that cater to personal carrying preferences. A streamlined overall profile allows the knife to sit comfortably in the pocket, preventing any discomfort during daily use.

DuraLock mechanism

The DuraLock system secures the blade in the open position, reliably guarding against accidental closure. This ensures safe knife operation, even under difficult conditions.

Kershaw

Militaria.pl is a distributor of Kershaw.

Kershaw is an American knife brand, founded in 1974 by Pete Kershaw in Oregon, which from the very beginning has focused on the highest quality and practical solutions for hunters, anglers, and everyday users. In 1977, the company was acquired by the Japanese Kai Group, allowing it to combine American innovation with Japanese craftsmanship. In 1998, Kershaw revolutionized the market by introducing the SpeedSafe assisted opening mechanism, and in the following years won prestigious Blade Show awards for models such as the Tyrade with Composite Blade technology combining two different types of steel. The brand is also known for its collaboration with renowned knifemakers, including Ken Onion, Ernest Emerson, and Rick Hinderer, which has resulted in iconic models such as the Leek and Cryo.

CPM MagnaCut feature
CPM MagnaCut
CPM MagnaCut is a stainless tool steel developed by Crucible Industries and produced using powder metallurgy (CPM). It is characterized by high strength, high wear resistance, and very good corrosion resistance, despite its relatively low chromium content (10.7%). The steel is comparable to the best tool steels, such as CPM-4V or Vanadis 4E, offering high resistance to cracking and chipping. Thanks to the use of free chromium and carbides formed mainly by vanadium (4%), CPM MagnaCut is less brittle and resistant to abrasion, even with a hardness of 60-64 HRC. In addition, the presence of niobium (2%) and molybdenum (2%) ensures stability at high temperatures, making the steel ideal for harsh working conditions. The composition of CPM MagnaCut also includes 1.15% carbon, which ensures adequate hardness and edge durability, making this steel valued in the manufacture of tools and weapons.
KVT - Kershaw Velocity Technology feature
KVT - Kershaw Velocity Technology
KVT (Kershaw Velocity Technology) is an advanced ball bearing system developed by Kershaw that ensures smooth and quick blade opening in folding knives. The mechanism is based on a ball bearing in which the balls are mounted in a plastic cage - this solution stabilizes the rolling elements and additionally minimizes friction, which translates into very smooth blade movement. In practice, KVT makes opening the knife with a flipper or thumb stud as easy and fast as in models with mechanical opening assistance, while maintaining the manual nature of the operation.
DuraLock feature
DuraLock
DuraLock is a cross-lock system developed by Kershaw as its own interpretation of the Axis Lock. It uses a steel bar and omega springs to lock the blade in the open position, ensuring high durability and safety of use. The mechanism operates smoothly, is operated on both sides, and allows for easy opening and closing with one hand.
PVD - Physical Vapor Deposition feature
PVD - Physical Vapor Deposition
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating is a modern technology for applying ultra-thin layers of metal in a vacuum, which significantly increases the durability of knives. Thanks to this, the blade becomes highly resistant to scratches, abrasion, and corrosion, while gaining a matte surface that reduces glare. This process allows for aesthetic finishes in various colors, from deep black to gold, which do not wear off like classic paint. As a result, the knife retains its great appearance and full functionality even with intensive use.
