Kershaw Duster Folding Knife - Charcoal Gray

A folding knife featuring a Modified Sheepsfoot-style blade with a length of 74 mm, crafted from premium 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. Weighing just 57 g, the tool is exceptionally easy to carry on a daily basis. The lightweight construction offers enhanced comfort during prolonged use, enabling precise control of the blade while minimizing hand fatigue.

8Cr13MoV stainless steel, jimping

Forged from premium 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, the knife blade benefits from an ideal carbon content, delivering optimal hardness. A high chromium presence ensures superior corrosion and wear resistance. Jimping along the spine offers a secure thumb rest, providing enhanced control for precision cutting.

Modified Sheepsfoot blade profile, stonewash finish

Equipped with a blade featuring a Modified Sheepsfoot shape, a plain cutting edge, and a length of 74 mm. The blade sports a Stonewash coating, offering exceptional scratch resistance. This finish creates a matte, irregular surface on the steel that efficiently conceals traces of wear from regular use.

textured handle and aluminum backspacer

The grey handle is crafted from fibreglass-reinforced nylon, which delivers a lightweight build paired with outstanding mechanical durability. Thanks to the high resistance of the material to impacts, scratches, and harsh weather, the knife performs reliably for both daily tasks and extensive field use.

A textured finish on the handle scales provides a firm and secure grip during use, while the inclusion of an aluminum backspacer adds additional strength and structural integrity to the knife.

DuraLock lock, KVT system, thumb stud

Opening the knife is effortless with the double-sided thumb stud, enhanced by the KVT ball bearing system for rapid and seamless blade deployment. A dependable DuraLock mechanism locks the blade securely when in use, effectively guarding against accidental closure.

spring clip, lanyard hole

A spring-loaded, reversible deep-carry clip ensures secure and convenient transport of the tool, making it easy to attach to a belt, pocket, or various gear. The handle is equipped with a lanyard hole, allowing for a cord or lanyard to be threaded through to help prevent accidental loss of the knife.

Kershaw

Militaria.pl is a distributor of Kershaw.

Kershaw is an American knife brand, founded in 1974 by Pete Kershaw in Oregon, which from the very beginning has focused on the highest quality and practical solutions for hunters, anglers, and everyday users. In 1977, the company was acquired by the Japanese Kai Group, allowing it to combine American innovation with Japanese craftsmanship. In 1998, Kershaw revolutionized the market by introducing the SpeedSafe assisted opening mechanism, and in the following years won prestigious Blade Show awards for models such as the Tyrade with Composite Blade technology combining two different types of steel. The brand is also known for its collaboration with renowned knifemakers, including Ken Onion, Ernest Emerson, and Rick Hinderer, which has resulted in iconic models such as the Leek and Cryo.

Duralock feature
Duralock
Duralock is a patented energy storage technology in Duracell batteries that guarantees up to 10 years of full capacity in storage mode. Thanks to their special electrochemical structure and insulation, the cells themselves minimize self-discharge, which means that the batteries remain ready for use for a long time. The certified durability and reliability of this technology make Duralock the standard in Duracell AA, AAA and larger alkaline batteries.
8Cr13MoV (8Cr13) feature
8Cr13MoV (8Cr13)
8Cr13MoV (8Cr13) is a Chinese stainless steel equivalent to Japanese AUS-8 steel. It offers a good balance between corrosion resistance, ease of sharpening, and edge retention. The carbon content (approximately 0.8%) affects the hardness of the steel, while chromium (13%) provides very good corrosion and abrasion resistance. Additions of molybdenum (0.3%), vanadium (up to 0.2%), manganese (0.5%), and silicon (0.4%) improve abrasion resistance and the stability of the steel structure. 8Cr13MoV is often used in the production of knives, including by companies such as Spyderco and Benchmade, which manufacture in China. After proper heat treatment, 8Cr13MoV steel achieves a hardness of 56-58 HRC, which makes it a material with good cutting properties, easy to sharpen, and relatively resistant to wear.
KVT - Kershaw Velocity Technology feature
KVT - Kershaw Velocity Technology
KVT (Kershaw Velocity Technology) is an advanced ball bearing system developed by Kershaw that ensures smooth and quick blade opening in folding knives. The mechanism is based on a ball bearing in which the balls are mounted in a plastic cage - this solution stabilizes the rolling elements and additionally minimizes friction, which translates into very smooth blade movement. In practice, KVT makes opening the knife with a flipper or thumb stud as easy and fast as in models with mechanical opening assistance, while maintaining the manual nature of the operation.
Stonewash feature
Stonewash
Stonewash is a blade finishing technique that involves treating steel in a drum filled with stones, ceramic abrasives, or beads. The impact of the material creates a characteristic, irregular pattern with micro-scratches, giving the effect of a matte, slightly “aged” surface with a raw, practical appearance. The finish gives the knife an aesthetic look and masks minor scratches and marks that occur during use, keeping the blade looking like new for longer. The matte texture reduces light reflections, which is valued in tactical and outdoor knives, and the micro-scratches can further reduce friction during cutting. Due to its durability, discreet appearance, and ease of maintenance, stonewash is popular in EDC, field, and tactical knives.
GFN - Glass Filled Nylon feature
GFN - Glass Filled Nylon

GFN (Glass Filled Nylon) is a nylon reinforced with glass fiber, offering low weight, high durability, and resistance to moisture and many chemicals. The material performs exceptionally well in demanding conditions, maintaining its strength even under intensive use. GFN surfaces may be completely smooth or textured to improve grip, providing better control and overall ergonomics. The robustness of GFN handles has made this material a standard in the production of EDC (Everyday Carry) knives as well as lightweight tactical designs.
