Solid equipment. I bought it because I was looking for a handy pickaxe to dig 10 big holes in the garden for trees. The soil is half made up of stones, yet the pickaxe does the job. It's not big, you can easily dig with one hand. The only 'flaw' is that it doesn't wedge itself onto the blade, even though it should. I hammered it hard with a mallet, but after a few strikes on a stone, it still loosened. I screwed two small screws into the bottom of the blade and now it works. For me, it's not a bushcraft gadget but a gardening tool, and it does the job. :)

Sharp, strong, and durable equipment. Of course, the handle is like any other handle—it’s wooden—but the rest is a solid piece of steel. Sharp, strong, and sturdy. As a whole, the pickaxe isn’t particularly heavy.
