Tested in the wet areas of lowland forests. Drinking the water without any later issues. It's important to remember to maintain the equipment in winter conditions.

Another filter from this company. The first one worked well. Lightweight, practical, effective, tested on various water streams. I chose the longer one, which should increase its lifespan. I recommend buying this product.

A very good filter at an attractive price. Comfortable and effective to use. Even if you don’t intend to use it, it’s worth having "just in case," not only during field trips but also as part of the equipment of, for example, a BOB.

So far, I've used it once—I drank water from the Ebro River after quite heavy rainfall. I filled a pot from a rather dirty part of the river to test it. The water tasted really good, I think the filter works. Granted, I got diarrhea the same day, but I don't know if it was because of that water or something else. For now 3 stars, I'll keep testing. If it turns out my diarrhea wasn't related, I'll change to 5, because this is a really useful thing.

I used it in India when I was in the lowlands, and it worked flawlessly. In the mountains, there was no need, so it ended up in my backpack. I draw water with a simple setup consisting of a 60 ml syringe, a T-connector, and hoses, and two simple ball valves direct water into a PET bottle. The filter has filtered several dozen liters of water (around 20l). I rinsed it and stored it securely. I only needed to use it again after a year. I managed with great difficulty to filter maybe a liter, and that was it. Maybe it can filter the declared 4000 liters, but only over a short period of use, and you can't put it on the shelf and expect it to work after a long time. It seems that what remains in the capillaries clogs them and very effectively blocks the flow. I'm curious about other users' experiences—unfortunately, the comments are mostly from people who bought it but never used it even once. The fact that it's nice and cheap is a weak recommendation for me.

LifeStraw Personal Water Filter - Blue is a reliable, compact filter that effectively removes bacteria and contaminants. Perfect for survival trips.

The product seems solid, but there are no Polish certificates – you can only trust the manufacturer's assurances. Also, no instructions in Polish – seller, please include them with the product – there’s not much to translate anyway.

I have been carrying it for emergencies for two years and I must admit that although I only needed to use it a few times, I never had any stomach issues, so it definitely works.
-
Filter bought after one of the survival trainings in tough terrain. Ideal for emergency situations, light, fits in any bag, even the smallest.

This is already the second straw from this company. Unfortunately, the first one was damaged by accident. 100% satisfaction – used a few times and I have nothing to complain about. I honestly recommend this product.
-
Filter bought for unexpected, extended 'grounding' in the forest and not as the main source of drinking water (canteen or bottle). Very light without adding to equipment weight. Promotional price is a plus.
-
Perfect small and quite cheap water filter. It works very well as a filter should. I have nothing to complain about because in my opinion it does its job.
-
A very useful thing. I even drank water from a puddle, and well, water is water. Water taste :) The important thing is that it filters and it works. I can forget about the eternal problem in the wild, whether to drink or keep searching for a cleaner source. This filter solves the problem. I recommend it.

The LifeStraw Personal water filter is the perfect tool with which you can quickly and easily make water drinkable. A big plus that it is long, as you can stick it into a bottle with dirty water.

A personal water filter, but to assess its quality, laboratory tests are necessary. The construction is solid, definitely a useful thing if someone does not want to carry water or just wants to reduce the volume and weight of their gear. Certainly an essential piece of equipment in crisis situations. In my opinion, it's worth having it in your gear when entering any difficult terrain or for longer trips for your own safety. I recommend it.
