Handy folding ferrocerium flint with a steel striker, producing a large shower of sparks. It can be used to light, for example, a gas stove, camping stove, or campfire, which is a source of heat and makes it possible to prepare a meal away from home. It will prove useful in emergency situations such as a blackout and during camping or trips.

The ferrocerium flint works by vigorously scraping the flint rod with the sharp edge of the striker. This causes the cerium contained in the rod to oxidize and self-ignite. One movement with the striker allows sparks with a temperature of 3000 deg. C to be produced, which, when falling onto previously prepared tinder, will create a flame even during severe frost or heavy rain. The flint rod is sufficient for 12000 ignitions.

The set includes a striker in the form of a metal plate. Thanks to its small size, the whole set, when folded, will fit in a pants pocket, waist bag, or backpack.

I recommend it! Small, but apparently thick enough not to break. I have already lit three campfires with it, without any problems. It gives good sparks. Originally protected with some coating, you need to scrape it off before use, but it's not troublesome.

I bought a fire starter for the first time and I must say it works pretty effectively. On the plus side, when folded, the rod is protected and the whole thing takes up little space. The manufacturer says the fire starter will last for 12,000 ignitions. For this price, I recommend it.

Small, light, and very effective at lighting fires. Big plus for the color, if it falls out of your hand at least it's easy to find. It's a good product for this price. I recommend trying it.
