M-Tac Gen. III Elite Small Backpack 36 l - MultiCam

A tactical backpack with a 36-liter capacity, crafted from highly resilient 500D Cordura. The main compartment, designed with an inverted “U”-shaped two-way zipper, allows the bag to fully open like a suitcase for easy and quick access to your gear. The interior features a Velcro panel, enabling the attachment of modular inserts for enhanced organization. Openings for tube routing ensure full compatibility with hydration systems.

A back compartment is dedicated to securely transporting a laptop up to 15.6 inches. Additional pockets located on the upper and front sections facilitate the systematic arrangement of smaller accessories. Two mesh pockets with drawstrings on each side are designed for carrying bottles.

The front and sides are outfitted with a laser-cut MOLLE system, providing attachment points for extra pouches and equipment. Compression straps positioned on the sides serve to minimize the pack’s bulk or secure additional gear like a sleeping bag or mat. A Velcro strip on the front panel enables the attachment of patches, including national flags, unit insignias, or morale patches.

Ergonomic shoulder straps are padded with cushioning foam and offer adjustable length to maximize wearer comfort. An expansive hip belt promotes even distribution of weight. The frame incorporates a specialized stiffening insert composed of a hard-wearing plastic base, two aluminum stays, and a carbon rod, delivering superior support for heavy loads while minimizing strain on the spine.

MultiCam is a contemporary camouflage design introduced in 2002 by the American firm Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), as part of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. The aim was to engineer a versatile camo pattern that offers effectiveness across diverse terrains and variable environmental conditions. The MultiCam design features a palette of seven distinct colors, producing smooth gradient transitions among greens, browns, and beiges. Such blending enables the pattern to adapt seamlessly to its environment—adopting green tones in woodland areas and shifting to browns and beiges in arid or desert zones. In Central and Eastern European settings, MultiCam demonstrates excellent concealment during autumn and within regions of dry vegetation. Recognized globally, MultiCam has been adopted by military forces and special units across the world. In 2010, the US Army officially selected it as the camouflage pattern for troops deployed in Afghanistan, replacing the former Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Civilians can also access this pattern, making it a favored option for both military enthusiasts and airsoft players.
