I highly recommend this medical pouch. Of course, there are cheaper ones, but this one is great—small and compact, perfect for a shooter to wear on the belt, ideally on the lower back. Just hehe, it needs a few small modifications, meaning I cut off the velcro on the back, which prevented quick access from the right or left side. With the velcro sewn in, it becomes a hassle—you’ll tear your pants off before you get the IFAK out, because the retention of the pouch’s elastic bands is more than enough, so there’s no need for more velcro. I packed hemostatic, compressed gauze, a nasopharyngeal tube, lubricant, an Israeli bandage, a vented occlusive dressing, a decompression needle, and a marker into the pouch. Probably some blister plasters would fit too, but I didn’t add them.
