You can eat it cold and it actually tastes better that way than hot. Worth buying since you eat quality meat and not some paste made from leftovers that can be put in a can, and people buy it because it's cheap and for... Pieces of meat just call to be devoured. At least you can see what you're eating, thanks to the fact that there are simply big chunks of meat in jelly, as it should be in preserves. Because mixed meats can be a blend of just about anything. 300g gives 300 kcal and 45g of protein. The meat itself is perfect for enriching freeze-dried meals or as protein for lunch—just add a little pepper, pickles, and couscous or other carbohydrates. Originally slightly salty, I was expecting a more pronounced ‘gizzard’ taste, but these are so well cleaned that there is no characteristic flavor, more similar to thigh meat. Already ordered again.
