The gloves work great for cycling. Their visibility, flexibility, and light padding make them perfect for the cooler autumn days.
Mechanix Wear Hi-Viz FastFit Gloves
Universal heavy-duty gloves designed to offer essential mechanical protection. Their optimal fit ensures excellent grip control without restricting detailed tasks. Perfect for law enforcement, military personnel, shooting sports enthusiasts, survival adventurers, automotive professionals, DIY projects, or ASG games.
Breathable TrekDry form-fitting material, touchscreen support
The top section of the gloves features a breathable, lightweight Form-fitting TrekDry fabric that minimizes hand perspiration, offering both reflective and fluorescent elements for enhanced visibility. High-quality synthetic leather on the palm ensures a secure grip and excellent tactile feedback, while also allowing for touchscreen functionality so removal of the gloves is unnecessary during use. Reinforced panels on the thumb and index finger provide extra durability in high-wear areas.
Cuff with ribbing
A broad cuff equipped with an elastic band delivers enhanced protection while guaranteeing a firm hold around the wrist. Thanks to the generously sized entry, putting on the glove is fast and uncomplicated.
ANSI/ISEA 105-3XX and EN388-2111X standards
These gloves comply with the American protective standard ANSI/ISEA 105 at level 3XX for abrasion, cut, and puncture resistance, meaning:
- 3: abrasion resistance (rated on a scale from 1 to 6)
- X: cut resistance (rated on a scale from A1 to A9)
- X: puncture resistance (rated on a scale from 0 to 5)
Additionally, the gloves conform to the EN388 protective standard at level 2111X for mechanical hazard protection, signifying:
- 2: abrasion resistance (scale 0–4)
- 1: cut resistance (scale 0–5)
- 1: tear resistance (scale 0–4)
- 1: puncture resistance (scale 0–4)
- X: cut resistance – TDM method (ISO 13997) (scale A–F)
Within the ANSI/ISEA 105 classification, abrasion resistance is graded from 1 to 6 and indicates how many abrasion cycles the glove material can endure before breaking down. Cut resistance is measured on a scale from A1 to A9, ranging from the lowest to the highest level of safety. Puncture resistance is evaluated from 0 to 5, showing the force needed to penetrate the glove's surface with a pointed object (not including needle punctures).
EN388 standards use scales to define levels of hand protection, where a rating of 0 indicates no protection, while the highest numbers (4, 5) represent the greatest durability.
The TDM testing method (ISO 13997) applies letter codes, with A indicating the lowest protection and F representing the maximum level.
The X designation shows the parameter was either not tested or is not relevant.

Comfortable and well-ventilated, and at temperatures around 7-8°C still protect against wind when cycling. Secure grip!
-
The gloves provide a secure grip, they are breathable and durable. Increased visibility is another plus.
-
Great color, when well fitted they are very comfortable. Quite thin, not bothersome to wear.
-
Used for operating an excavator, I recommend them.
-
Nice gloves, very visible color, but the reflective paint application is very weak. It's best to choose a size larger than, for example, the 'Original' model.
-
Comfortable and durable. Simply Mechanix.
-
Nice gloves, good material, plus the ability to use a phone and visibility in case of an accident on the road due to the yellow color.
-
I use them for cycling and in my opinion they are great.
-
I use them in the fire department, very comfortable, very precise work. They dry quickly and the color is easy to find in the dark with low light. The hooks are also very useful.
-
Excellent gloves. Comfortable, visible, and quite durable. I took two sets and already, after a year, see that it's a good investment.
-
This is my second pair. They are comfortable. I use them together with the Durahide model. Those are for the forest, these for the bike. Thanks to the size chart, I chose the right size. I recommend them.
-
Nice lightweight FastFits. Good for cycling and light work. Recommend.
-
Good quality gloves, maybe not for ASG in the forest because you would be visible from space, but they are perfect for CQB :D

I have been using them to collect scooters for a month. Comfortable, snug and strong. Definitely very visible, only the reflective parts could reflect light more. Hard to get them dirty. Fortunately, they haven’t been punctured by nails, and the pads provide great cushioning. Despite intensive work, I see only minimal wear of the material in non-vulnerable spots. Typical rubber gloves lasted a maximum of 3 days for this job. Mechanix, a month without any issues. And yes, you can use a phone with them. I’ve already ordered a second pair.
