Protection standard EN388-4111X
Compliant with the EN388-4111X protective standard for mechanical hazard resistance, the gloves offer the following levels of protection:
- 4: abrasion resistance (rated on a scale from 0 to 4)
- 1: cut resistance (measured on a scale from 0 to 5)
- 1: tear resistance (measured on a scale from 0 to 4)
- 1: puncture resistance (rated on a scale from 0 to 4)
- X: cut resistance – TDM test (ISO 13997) (graded on a scale from A to F)
Within the EN388 standard, these scales represent the glove’s protection level: 0 denotes the absence of protection, whereas the highest ratings (4, 5) indicate the greatest resistance.
For the TDM method (ISO 13997) test, letter indicators are used, with A representing the minimal protection level and F the maximum.
The X symbol identifies parameters that were not tested or do not apply.
