The gloves are comfortable and fit well on the hand. I tested the cut protection by trying a knife from the inside and it actually works. The parcel arrived together with other items in less than three days.
Mechanix Wear Pursuit D5 Cut-Resistant Gloves - Black
Tactical gloves in black. Engineered for professional military personnel, special forces operators, and members of uniformed services. Featuring cut resistance, they deliver outstanding performance across diverse missions and tasks.
TrekDry, spandex and armortex material
Constructed with breathable TrekDry material and synthetic leather, the gloves offer superior grip and effectively reduce the risk of slipping on wet surfaces. The integration of spandex into the Armortex fabric ensures a snug fit around the hand, while maintaining full range of motion.
touchscreen operation, cut resistance
Pursuit CR5 Covert gloves feature synthetic leather that enables touchscreen operation on smartphones and tablets, eliminating the need to remove your gloves. The palm side interior is reinforced with a layer of cut-resistant fabric (CE level 5 cut protection). The cuff secures with a Velcro closure.
ANSI/ISEA 105-XA5X and EN388-3X43D standards
The gloves adhere to the American protection standard ANSI/ISEA 105 Level XA5X for resistance against cuts, abrasion, and punctures, signifying:
- X: abrasion resistance (rated from 1 to 6)
- A5: cut resistance (rated from A1 to A9)
- X: puncture resistance (rated from 0 to 5)
The gloves fulfill the protective requirements of EN388 at level 3X43D for mechanical hazards, meaning:
- 3: abrasion resistance (scale 0–4)
- X: circular blade cut resistance (scale 0–5)
- 4: tear resistance (scale 0–4)
- 3: puncture resistance (scale 0–4)
- D: TDM (ISO 13997) cut resistance (scale A–F)
Within the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, the abrasion resistance scale runs from 1 to 6, indicating the number of cycles a material withstands before failing. Cut resistance is measured from A1 to A9, representing increasing levels of protection. Puncture resistance is assessed from 0 to 5, specifying the force necessary to pierce the glove with a sharp probe (needle punctures are not included).
EN388 standard uses grading scales to indicate glove protection: 0 means no protection, while the top values (4, 5) reflect the highest resistance.
For the TDM (ISO 13997) measurement, letter codes are applied, with A as the lowest and F as the highest protection grade.
The X symbol signifies that the particular parameter was not evaluated or does not apply.

TrekDry is a modern material characterized by high breathability. It effectively wicks moisture away from the surface of the skin, which helps to keep it dry and thermally comfortable during intense physical activity. It fits to the shape of the hand, ensuring freedom of movement and increasing precision during various activities.
Armortex is a durable material that is highly resistant to abrasion, tearing and cutting. Its special synthetic fiber structure reinforces the areas most vulnerable to damage, and the special texture ensures better grip and a secure hold. It prevents the gloves from becoming wet in contact with water, oil or other liquids.

Very functional, comfortable, warm, and well-made gloves at a great price. They work well with touch screens and are perfect for uniformed services. The sizing was given precisely, which allows you to choose the perfect gloves.
-
My favorite gloves for tough, dirty work in the garden. Roses, raspberries, splinters from boards, and the pruner did not defeat these gloves. I was cleaning up and moving thorny stems that the men couldn't carry even with gloves! I recommend them.
-
After a few months of use, mainly with the car, the gloves do the job. They are well made and durable. After a few washes, they are still like at the time of purchase and have not stretched out. Good product.
-
Excellent Mechanix Pursuit D5 gloves, solid, comfortable, and perform their function perfectly. They work great for working in the forest at the campsite. I recommend them!
-
I recommend it, at first they were very stiff when bending the hand to the maximum, but after working with the hands a bit, the glove fit very well, I recommend it.
-
The product serves its purpose, the price is appropriate, although it's worth waiting as there are sometimes discounts. The material on the outer part of the hand is the only downside because it tends to stretch or pill depending on what the glove brushes against, often even when fastening or unfastening the gloves.
-
Considering the price, the glove is really well made and works great. I have already had the opportunity to test it with a knife blade on the inside of my hand—it withstood the test. After that, it was no longer fit for further use, which was to be expected, but it performed its most important function perfectly. I will definitely buy it again! It's also worth noting that the glove is available in a narrower women's version in sizes S, M, and L.
-
Mechanix Pursuit D5 is serious protection! The gloves are comfortable, fit well, and have a high level of cut resistance. Ideal for work and EDC in tough conditions.
-
The gloves are thicker. At first, I took a bigger size because I thought it would be more comfortable, but after a while of use I found that the standard size would also have worked.
-
Nice, comfortable, and genuinely safe gloves. Bought for duty for situations like searching places where there's high risk of getting some nasty stuff on your hands. It's not an excessive price for health or even life. I recommend.
-
Unfortunately, I am forced to give the lowest rating because while working with the gloves at the airport, they lasted less than three weeks and cracks appeared on the fingers. Reading the reviews, I expected more for this price.
-
The gloves are absolutely ideal for service, but they could be of a higher resistance class for the money. They are comfortable and work very well during daily service. Really, one of the best gloves when it comes to uniformed services.
-
They work well for operating touch screens, opening zippers on jackets, backpacks, or hip bags, even if the zippers are small—no problem at all. There is no issue operating a knife or multitool. The hook-and-loop surface on the cuffs seems a bit small, and overall, the Velcro tends to get tangled with fabric fibers.
-
I haven't had a chance to test their special features yet, but I can definitely say that working in them is very comfortable. You can use touch screens in them without any problem, and your hand doesn't sweat.
