Woodland, often referred to as U.S. Woodland or M81, stands as a legendary camouflage pattern first adopted by the US Armed Forces in the early 1980s, evolving from the earlier ERDL design. Serving as the standard for the US military for more than twenty years, up until the close of the first decade of the 2000s, the pattern features prominent, uneven patches in tones of green, brown, beige, and black. These colors offer excellent concealment and disruptive qualities, particularly within forested environments.
