MFH Fox Outdoor Precision Compass - Black

The MFH Fox Outdoor Precision compact, foldable prismatic compass features a robust metal housing that ensures durability in the field. Designed for accurate navigation, it provides precise azimuth measurements, distance estimating, and object sizing. Integrated components include a spirit level, sighting mirror, lens-assisted aiming system, and a threaded socket for tripod attachment. Supplied with a nylon pouch equipped with a belt loop for easy transport.

Constructed from metal, the black, collapsible casing offers enhanced durability and robust protection against impacts. With an integrated spirit level, precise field leveling becomes straightforward. The design also incorporates a lanyard attachment point and a threaded socket for tripod or theodolite mounting.

A rotating dial containing liquid and alcohol prevents freezing, minimizes shock, and delivers clear indications even in motion, such as while walking or running. An advanced sapphire bearing ensures smooth and accurate rotation of the Power Magnet magnetic needle. On the underside of the housing, angle and gradient tables are provided to support navigation and terrain assessment.

The sighting compass function is facilitated through side scales (both metric and imperial), a lens-equipped aiming device, as well as a front sight, rear sight, and a map compass.

An internal mirror is integrated, making dial readings quicker and more convenient.
