1. "Durable battery" - this probably refers to "optimal battery usage," because the device does not come with a battery/accumulator in the set. 2. Requires 4 AA batteries/accumulators, not 8 as described. It's nice that you can set the device to take 1-3 photos (.jpg) when motion is detected and choose their resolution. Recordings are saved as .avi files. If the battery level is low, the IR does not work, but if the movement is illuminated by another light source, recording will be triggered. Regarding a previous review, the manufacturer is indeed from Italy, but the device has stickers saying "Made in China" ;)

A small, neat trail camera. I am pleasantly surprised that the product comes from the country of pasta, not from China. Unfortunately, it does not have WiFi connectivity, but that's not a problem for me.
