I have no complaints about the blade itself, but the plastic sheath is a disaster. It doesn't hold the knife at all. The handle is made of very soft plastic. The competing Mora is much better made.

A small knife useful in the kitchen, e.g. for peeling and cutting vegetables. Also handy for mushroom picking. Safe transport is ensured by the sheath, which holds the knife securely. The downside of the sheath is that it doesn't have a clip, just a very narrow and thin slot through which only a very thin strap can be threaded. At Militaria.pl, for a slightly higher price, I bought the Bahco Laplander 2444 knife, which is a tool of similar size, but its usefulness is incomparably better.

Delivery on the next day. A light fishing knife, factory sharp, and it doesn't say “made in China”.

This knife has just arrived for me. To start with, I must say it is probably the worst factory-sharpened knife I have ever handled—it had trouble cutting dental floss. Other than that, the knife is quite neat and decently made. The steel is standard 420, so it won't hold its edge for long but will be very easy to sharpen. If you’re looking for a field kitchen knife and know how to sharpen knives, this is the knife for you. If you're after a universal outdoor knife, skip the Brigand and buy a Mora.

A competitor for Mora, let's see after longer use if it is just as solid. The workmanship is alright. Although the handle is not very comfortable and has a poor grip.
