At the beginning of my outdoor adventure, I used to cook in a regular pot directly over the embers of a campfire. Then I switched to basic mess kits, which were much better, but the problem remained of making a campfire in public places or near people. So I started looking for a portable stove that I could quickly set up, cook a meal, and move on efficiently. In my opinion, spirit burners are the most versatile. Trangia alternatives can be bought for a few dozen zloty, but then you have to add the cost of a windscreen, a pot stand, and the cookware set itself. Then the price quickly goes over 100 zloty, and it’s hard to pack everything because each element is 'from a different parish.' The Mil-Tec Cook-Set is effectively a complete system that beats ordinary mess kits hands down. For the price, you get a burner, windscreen, two pots, and a pan that also serves as a plate or lid. I justify this purchase to myself like this: I bought a decent cookware set and got the burner for free. At this price, you won’t find anything better. I recommend it, I would buy it again.
