It is small, lightweight, and worth having on hand when going on trips to nature as an alternative to a lighter or matches. It produces sparks, and if the kindling is dry and flammable, you can easily start a fire with this device.

Good quality firestarter, very easy to make sparks with it, relatively comfortable grip and a low price, so I think the product is worth its price.
-
The perfect firestarter for this price, works as it should, although the included metal plate could be better. Personally, I use a homemade striker with a slightly longer cord. Price plays a significant role here. For me, 5 stars.
-
The firestarter works properly, produces many sparks, and is easy to use. Small, light, and always ignites—ideal for camping or the mountains, but you need to use a knife, as the included plate isn't suitable.
-
The firestarter works with a knife (the plate will also make sparks, but a knife gives a bigger spark). You don't have to shave it either. My tip: press harder and it'll be OK.
-
The firestarter generates a small amount of sparks and insufficient heat, making lighting a fire inconvenient and ineffective. On the third use, the handle broke off the rod.

Good quality firestarter, very easy to make sparks with it, relatively comfortable grip and a low price, so I think the product is worth the price.
-
The firestarter is small, so it doesn't take up much space, it works and makes sparks easily and you can light a fire with it without any trouble. It seems to be quite well made. For the price, it's pretty decent.
-
Nice small fire starter, does its job. I think the price to product ratio is okay. You can strike it with a knife, but the metal plate included in the set is also usable :) I recommend it.
-
A very practical product, it will definitely come in handy on more than one camping trip. Nicely and aesthetically made. Thanks to the fact that it is not too big, it takes up very little space.
-
The Mil-Tec Fire Steel Small is a practical tool for making fire. Compact and easy to carry. Solid construction and high efficiency make it indispensable in extreme conditions. Perfect for survival and outdoor enthusiasts.
-
It's not so easy to make sparks, ignition is problematic too. In military training, I used a much better firestarter that could light cotton from the first spark shower.
-
This is my first fire starter and for this price there's nothing to complain about. It works best with the blunt side of a knife. To use the included scraper, you should first "rough it up" with a coarse file.
-
The firestarter itself is fine, but the plate could be sharper. Once the first layer is scraped and you use a knife, the spark is quite big. I used it in the rain in the mountains and it worked well.

Great firestarter, produces a nice shower of sparks and performs well even in difficult conditions. Small, easily fits in a trouser pocket. Its only downside is a weak plate—better to use a knife.
