Woodland, referred to as US Woodland or M81, is an iconic camouflage pattern that made its debut with the United States Armed Forces in the early 1980s, deriving its design from the earlier ERDL camouflage pattern. Serving as the standard camouflage for the US military for more than twenty years, it remained in widespread use until the close of the first decade of the 2000s.
