Mora HighQ Robust Knife - Grey

An all-purpose outdoor knife designed for a range of activities, including hiking, fishing, hunting, and bushcraft. Lightweight construction, an ergonomic handle, and a highly accessible price point encourage even demanding applications. The Robust model represents the classic Mora, upgraded with a reinforced, thicker, and more securely mounted blade, as well as a more textured handle. Ideal for users seeking a tool capable of intensive use without concern for premature wear or breakage.

Clip-point blade profile, high-carbon steel

The blade features a Clip-Point shape and is crafted from carbon steel, utilizing a zero-grind flat grind. The combination of this grind and the relatively slim blade thickness delivers exceptional cutting performance, making it highly effective for tasks such as shaving and shaping wood, including both dry and hard varieties. Engineered from C100 carbon steel, the blade boasts impressive strength and resists brittleness, even when hardened to a 58-60HRC range, while offering easier sharpening compared to stainless steel.

Ergonomically rubberized handle

A handle contoured for ergonomic comfort is crafted from tough plastic and features a rubberized coating, ensuring a firm, comfortable grip even in wet or muddy conditions. A pin is integrated into the handle for 2/3 of its length, serving as a direct extension of the head.

Plastic sheath with spring clip

Equipped with a practical plastic scabbard, the knife can be safely stored even when wet or heavily soiled, thanks to a unique design and a drainage hole. Secure and rapid mounting to your belt, pocket edge, or pants is facilitated by a robust spring clip.

At first, the blade seems short. The handle has excellent ergonomics and gives a sense of safety thanks to the massive guard. The thick blade encourages heavy-duty tasks. Overall, it's a strong knife, but not excessively heavy. A universal model. In my case, I removed the extra protruding handle from the top of the sheath. If done skillfully, there's practically no trace, and the knife with the sheath is stored better in a backpack. The handle doesn't snag on other things. At this price, as a forest knife – Mora Robust is a very good choice.

Great knife! I bought one for myself some time ago, and later for my brother. It performed excellently in the forest, I highly recommend it to everyone! Perfect balance between price and quality.

My favorite when it comes to fixed-blade knives. Absolutely indestructible. You can do absolutely everything with it and it won't even be affected. The knife I use most often in my collection.

Nice, medium-sized knife at an attractive price. Due to the use of carbon steel, you need to be careful with moisture – it easily develops a layer of rust.

I see a dissatisfied review below, and honestly I don't understand it. This is a workhorse at a very, very affordable price. The short blade may be a downside, but it can also be a plus because it's harder to damage.

Honestly? I'm surprised. The Mora didn't even make it to the forest and already got dull, with shadows appearing on the blade as if I had hit it on concrete (but it faced wood). In general, don't use this knife for making a firesteel grind because that grind lasts 10 moves, the steel is soft, which surprises me because from the reviews it should survive even concrete D:

Very good knife and the factory sharpening is excellent. An opening at the end of the handle for a cord would be useful, but it's fine. I have a large hand and yet the handle fits and sits well. The blade is solid and the grind makes it easy to sharpen on any kind of sharpener. I recommend it.

This is already my second HighQ Robust. The first one someone liked so much that they borrowed it forever. The knife is still very sharp out of the box. Passed the paper-cut test. From previous use, I highly recommend this model—it's really a budget bulldozer.

The best cheap knife for survival, excellent quality and super universal. There are no competitors; Swedish-made knives are excellent. The blade is thick and solid. The Robusta handle is very comfortable and makes work easier. At this favorable price, you can't get a better knife, so I recommend it.

The knife is amazing! Small, light, sharp, ergonomic. It's not full tang, but nobody is going to baton big logs with it. And those you can split with a nine-centimeter blade won't hurt it. This knife can be recommended with a clear conscience.

Stays sharp for a very long time, carbon steel does the job. I love Mora knives because, for such a low price, you get such a high-quality product. I love showing the capabilities of this knife to anyone who doesn't know it. The surprise when shaving is priceless, and when they hear the price—mega fun :-)

Mora HighQ Robust Grey knife—although not full tang, it's still a piece of extra solid knife. The knife has a thick, solid blade, a very ergonomic handle that ensures a secure grip, it's super sharp, and very well balanced. You can really abuse it and use it for any kind of work—in fact, I've even batoned with it and never had any problems. You need to take care of and maintain this model, as the blade doesn't like moisture, but apart from that, it's awesome. I recommend it!

Massive blade, inspiring confidence when applying greater force. The sheath holds well. The knife is very practically designed. Despite its compact size—a shorter blade—it has a sufficiently sized handle. Shortening the blade compared to the Mora Companion is a planned action, allowing it to be used for prying various elements (increasing certainty of action). The carbon blade catches rust, but because of its composition, it sharpens faster. In case of major rust, a little polishing paste and it's almost like new. I recommend the purchase. Armored.

Almost a perfect knife, incredibly sharp and handy due to its small size. Tested outdoors, but I noticed two major flaws for which I deduct two stars. First, it's highly susceptible to corrosion. I know Moras need to be cleaned even after cutting an apple, but for an oiled blade kept in a sheath to show corrosion after being stored in a car trunk—there’s something to it. The second star is deducted for the knife grind, which is large and thus comfortable to use, but it has grooves that make cleaning difficult, and coupled with the first issue, it becomes an irritating problem. An interesting little bush knife, especially for meticulous customers who like to spend time maintaining it.
