Njord Alviss Forged Fixed Blade Knife

Medieval-inspired cabochon knife equipped with a 115 mm fixed blade featuring a Straight-Back profile, expertly crafted from robust and carbon steel for excellent durability and resistance to wear. The handle is formed by a folding tang construction. Supplied with a sheath crafted from tough, genuine brown leather.

Cable construction, 57 hRc hardness steel

Featuring a cabochon design, the knife utilizes a bent tang that serves as the handle. The blade, fashioned in a Straight-Back profile, is crafted from hardened carbon steel with a hardness rating of approximately 57 hRc. This type of steel delivers high abrasion resistance, outstanding toughness against chipping, and excellent edge retention. Except for the blade, the knife’s surface remains unground, lending a rugged, brut de forge appearance.

Robust leather sheath ensures secure and safe transport of the knife.

    Exceptionally beautiful knife. Made from very hard steel. I am satisfied. The knife arrived oiled, and there was also a leather sheath included in the package. The knife is pleasing to the eye and is really well made. I can recommend it.

    I bought it because of the appearance. Solid craftsmanship, I received a sharp knife with a symmetrically done edge. For the forest it is rather too delicate, for me it's more for displaying on the wall to admire.

    As with the set from this manufacturer with a fork—the main advantage is the look. Straight from the factory, the sharpness is poor, the cutting edge is uneven, and the grind is asymmetrical, but in my eyes, that's the charm of these gadgets. It's surprisingly hard to sharpen. The sheath is included in the set and that's its advantage. I got exactly what I expected from a product made in Pakistan.
