Njord Tyrfing Sword
A decorative sword inspired by archaeological discoveries from the early medieval period, specifically the so-called Viking Age. Crafted from Damast steel, this model stands out due to the distinctive pattern on its blade, created by fusing multiple layers of various steel types.
Damast steel 1095 + 15N20, fuller
Crafted from Damast steel by pattern welding, the blade features multiple layers of high-carbon spring steel 1095 combined with carbon steel 15N20. Tapering toward the hilt, the blade incorporates a fuller extending nearly the full length to minimize weight. The hilt's surface is specially finished to showcase the distinctive pattern unique to forged damast.
Leather handle, steel guard
An ergonomically designed handle crafted from leather ensures a secure and steady grip. Positioned at the pommel, the head enhances the overall balance and control of the sword. A double-sided steel guard, typical of medieval swords, offers reliable hand protection.
