Ballistic eyewear from the American brand Oakley, model SI Ballistic Crosshair Gunmetal. Inspired by classic aviator glasses, the frames are constructed from polycarbonate and C-5 alloy. These glasses are certified to meet ballistic standards MIL PRF-31013, Clause 4.3.3.3.1 as well as ANSI Z87.1-2010 (Clause 6.2.2, Clause 5.1.4).

Frames are produced from robust C-5 alloy. High-grip, hydrophilic Unobtainium® is featured on the nose pads and temples, which ensures the glasses stay firmly in place during wear.

A low-profile frame design provides compatibility with electronic hearing protection and communications headsets, and also supports use with night vision equipment.

Lenses are crafted from Plutonite® polycarbonate and enhanced with High Definition Optics (HDO®) technology, delivering superior optical clarity. The outer surface features a Hard Coating for scratch resistance, along with a flame-retardant anti-fog coating applied to the viewfinders. The grey-tinted viewfinder allows 18% visible light transmission, making it suitable for use in medium to bright lighting conditions, and fulfills MCEPS standards for both chromaticity and neutrality. The neutral contrast of the viewfinder ensures excellent performance on sunny days.

Included with the eyewear is a microfiber pouch for safe storage and cleaning, along with a hard case branded with the manufacturer’s logo.

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Oakley.

Oakley is an American brand founded in 1975 by Jim Jannard. The breakthrough in its history was the release of the O-Frame goggles in 1980, which quickly gained popularity in motocross and winter sports. The company revolutionized the sports glasses market with the introduction of models such as Eyeshades, Frogskins and M Frame - the latter were approved by the U.S. Army under the APEL system and are available in official military supplies. Oakley develops its products in cooperation with professionals, testing them in extreme conditions. In 2010, it provided special glasses for miners rescued from a collapsed mine in Chile, protecting their eyesight after weeks underground. With more than 600 patents and the support of the Luxottica Group (since 2007), Oakley is today a global leader in optical technology and sports accessories.
