Ocaso Delos Folding Knife - Dark Matter Blue

A premium EDC (Every Day Carry) gentleman’s folder folding knife crafted by Kurt Merriken. Constructed from high-quality materials including titanium, Fat Carbon fiber composite, and Damascus steel. The knife's name is inspired by the legendary Greek city where Apollo and Artemis are said to have been born.

Blade Modified Tanto, damascus steel, jimping

The Modified Tanto-style blade is crafted from Damascus steel composed of 120 layers of N690 and Nitro-B stainless steel. Boasting a distinctive pattern, the blade is hardened to 60-61 HRC, ensuring exceptional edge retention and resistance to both chipping and cracking. Precision flat grind enhances cutting performance while delivering optimal strength and durability. Along the spine, where thumb placement is natural, jimping provides improved grip and greater control during cutting tasks.

Carbon fiber and titanium handle scales, opening flipper

The handle of the knife is crafted from two distinct scales, each utilizing premium materials. One scale features titanium, while the opposite side is constructed from Fat Carbon fiber composite. Ergonomically contoured, the grip ensures a secure and confident hold, regardless of conditions. Thanks to these advanced materials, the knife achieves an ultralight weight of just 85 g, maximizing comfort for daily carry. A double-sided thumb stud integrated into the blade enables convenient one-handed deployment. The mechanism incorporates steel ball bearings, significantly enhancing the fluidity and speed of the blade’s opening action.

Frame Lock, resilient deep-carry clip

Once opened, the blade is secured by a Frame Lock mechanism, providing reliable safety during operation. Outfitted with a titanium deep-carry clip, the knife can be discreetly and comfortably attached to a belt or pocket edge for convenient carry.
