Olight O'Pen 3 Pen Flashlight - 120 lumens

Combining a robust pen, a convenient rechargeable flashlight, and a laser pointer, this versatile model offers multifunctional utility. LED diodes positioned on both the clip and the tip ensure illumination whether clipped to a pocket or used while writing. The device is also equipped with a red light and a laser pointer that projects a concentrated beam of green light.

Aluminum housing, IPX4 standard, steel clip

Constructed from lightweight and durable aircraft-grade aluminum A6061-T6, the pen’s body offers exceptional resilience. The black anodized finish forms a scratch-resistant and abrasion-resistant protective layer. Round millings are incorporated to provide a steady and comfortable grip during writing.

8 work modes

Featuring 8 different lighting modes, the flashlight enables users to tailor light intensity to suit various environments.

Operating modes / lumens / runtime:

  • Clip Light High / 120 lumens / 14+25 min
  • Clip Light Medium / 60 lumens / 60 min
  • Clip Light Low / 20 lumens / 140 min
  • Clip Light Moon / 2 lumens / 26 h
  • Red Light High / 10 lumens / 80 min
  • Red Light Low / 5 lumens / 130 min
  • Tip LED / 0.4 lumens / 26 h
  • SOS

Outfitted with a premium green laser with 0.39 mW output, classified as 1R, the flashlight offers reliable precision. Effortless mode selection is achieved via a single press on the tail switch. The uniquely “L”-shaped switch, when slid, activates either the pen tip LED or the green laser pointer.

A dedicated locking mechanism prevents the unintentional activation of the light.

rechargeable power supply, charging port, warranty

A built-in Li-Po battery serves as the power supply, offering a capacity of 120 mAh. Recharging is handled through a USB-C port, with a full charge from empty requiring approximately one hour.

Great product! The workmanship and the quality of the materials are at a very high level, and the fitting of the parts pleasantly surprised me. The flashlight is very bright for its size and offers useful functions. Plus, the orange color is fantastic. I definitely recommend it!

I wasn't fully convinced at first, but I changed my mind after scribbling a bit in the dark. The light for writing is fantastic. It perfectly illuminates the surface of the paper and can also be used as a gently glowing flashlight at the tip of the pen, and the color of the light is warmer than on the clip. The LEDs on the clip in low mode give a delicate glow, and in high mode they actually shine quite well for such little things. You can easily illuminate a small room. The laser pointer does its job. The buttons and switches feel solid. The charging port is cleverly hidden, and it's good that charging works this way. You don't have to carry an extra charging component with you. For me, there are two downsides. The balance is average because the pen is quite large and the center of gravity while writing is too high for me, but I'm probably not going to use it for writing essays. The second downside is the refill included as an extra. It is not gel but classic, which at this price feels like a bad joke. There could have been another element with a magnet, preferably a clip. Cool device.

Very good quality, great features, the flashlight modes work perfectly but unfortunately this is the version with the 1R laser, which is very weak. Now I noticed that the description says it’s only a 1R laser. Honestly, I didn’t know such a version existed because I thought all O'pen3 had a 3R laser with the option to choose. I’m wondering if I should return it because, unfortunately, for my needs this laser is too weak.

Good, solidly made pen. The flashlights are strong, each one of them. It's a bit heavy for a pen, but it makes up for it with its functions. The only downside is that there are two versions of these pens on the market, and in the US they are available with a much stronger laser and you can change the power, whereas in Poland and Europe official distributors are prohibited from selling stronger versions and we only get the pen with a weaker laser.

A very cool gadget if you use a flashlight and a pen anyway. Here we have both things in one compact and durable housing. It works and looks good. I recommend it.
