I wasn't fully convinced at first, but I changed my mind after scribbling a bit in the dark. The light for writing is fantastic. It perfectly illuminates the surface of the paper and can also be used as a gently glowing flashlight at the tip of the pen, and the color of the light is warmer than on the clip. The LEDs on the clip in low mode give a delicate glow, and in high mode they actually shine quite well for such little things. You can easily illuminate a small room. The laser pointer does its job. The buttons and switches feel solid. The charging port is cleverly hidden, and it's good that charging works this way. You don't have to carry an extra charging component with you. For me, there are two downsides. The balance is average because the pen is quite large and the center of gravity while writing is too high for me, but I'm probably not going to use it for writing essays. The second downside is the refill included as an extra. It is not gel but classic, which at this price feels like a bad joke. There could have been another element with a magnet, preferably a clip. Cool device.
