I bought it for the HCRI LEDs and I'm not disappointed. The white light is distinctly warmer than other flashlights, the grass at night looks green, not blue. The brightness is also satisfactory, and in turbo mode the heat in the concentrated beam is actually noticeable, so the limited runtime is not surprising. The unusual SOS Morse mode hasn't fortunately been needed yet. The Perun 3 Mini flashlight is compatible with the charger from the Baton 4 Premium. The angled flashlight clip, together with the magnet, is not very useful but does hold it in the charger. Interestingly, despite the lower power, the same 16340 Li-Ion battery (650 mAh 3.6 V) in the Perun 3 discharges faster than in the Baton 4—maybe it's a difference in my units, or maybe v.4 has better control electronics than v.3? The headband has a narrow strip on the inside, probably silicone, which stabilizes the device even when it's loosely strapped to your head. I would never have thought before that this could be useful, but it is!
