Omegon Seastar 7x50 Binoculars with compass

Marine binoculars designed for use on the water and in harsh weather conditions with a 50 mm objective lens and a fixed 7x magnification. The model is equipped with an analog compass visible in the field of view, BaK-4 Porro prisms, multi-coating (MC), and a sealed, nitrogen-filled construction that is water-resistant and fog-proof. The binoculars are unsinkable, and their body features a durable, rubberized coating that increases resistance to mechanical damage and ensures a secure grip in all conditions. The 7.1 mm exit pupil allows for effective use of available light, making the binoculars ideal for observation at dawn, dusk, and on cloudy days.

The binoculars' body has been hermetically sealed and filled with nitrogen, effectively protecting the optics from moisture and fogging. The construction does not sink if accidentally dropped into the water, significantly increasing the safety of use during cruises. The housing is covered with a soft non-slip rubber coating with a non-slip texture, serving both protective and shock-absorbing functions. The binoculars are equipped with a convenient central focusing mechanism, allowing quick transitions from observing nearby objects to those at a great distance. Twist-up eyecups increase user comfort and help maintain the correct eye position relative to the eyepiece. Diopter adjustment in the right eyepiece allows precise image adaptation to the observer's individual needs. The binoculars are equipped with a standard 1/4" tripod thread, allowing for tripod mounting using an appropriate binocular adapter.

The design uses high-quality Porro prisms made of crown-barium glass BaK-4. They feature a high refractive index, which allows for sharp, bright, and well-contrasted images with minimal chromatic aberration. With good light transmission, these prisms perform particularly well in low-light conditions. The lenses and eyepieces are covered with multilayer anti-reflective MC (Multi Coated) coatings, which reduce light loss and minimize unwanted glare. As a result, the image features high contrast, natural color reproduction, and better clarity.

The Seastar model features an integrated analog compass visible directly in the field of view. It allows for quickly determining the direction of the observed object without the need for additional navigation devices. The built-in reticle also enables distance estimation to observed objects, which is particularly useful during sailing and coastal navigation.

The set includes a case made of durable synthetic material with increased resistance to abrasion and moisture, providing effective protection of the binoculars during transport and storage. Additionally, the binoculars come with an adjustable neck strap, allowing for convenient and safe carrying of the equipment during field observations.
