Beautiful and tiny, very light, it's just a pity that it doesn't have a blade lock.
Medium-sized, remarkably light folding knife featuring a 6 cm blade. A time-honored classic from a French brand with over a century of heritage.
Equipped with a clip-point blade crafted from high-carbon XC90 steel and polished to a semi-matte sheen. The blade utilizes a flat full grind, nearly zero-grind, which—paired with a minimal blade thickness—delivers outstanding slicing performance.
Opening the knife is made easy by a notch on the blade, similar to the mechanism found in Victorinox pocket knives.
The handle is constructed from beech wood, offering an ergonomic contour for a secure and comfortable hold. The handle also lends itself to easy customization; a simple modification could include drilling a hole at the end for a lanyard. Texture, carvings, or custom staining can also be applied to personalize its appearance.
A perfect tool for camping and woodland expeditions, especially for those who value tradition and natural materials.

Manufacturer Opinel France
Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Opinel.
Opinel is a French knife brand whose history dates back to 1890 in Savoy. The founder, Joseph Opinel, created the first folding knife, No. 08, which quickly became a symbol of everyday use thanks to its simplicity and functionality. In 1955, the Virobloc locking system was introduced, later modernized, which is still the hallmark of the brand today. In 1985, Opinel was recognized by the Victoria and Albert Museum as one of the 100 best-designed objects in the world, and the brand's knives also found their way into the MoMA collection in New York. Production takes place in Chambery, with an emphasis on quality and ecology - the wood comes from French forests and the waste is used to heat the factory. Among the famous users was Pablo Picasso, who used Opinel for carving, and the knives themselves have become a symbol of simplicity, durability, and the French lifestyle.

Beautiful and tiny, very light, it's just a pity that it doesn't have a blade lock.
The knife is nicely made for such a small size, weighs nothing, the blade cuts smoothly... this is my first knife from this series, but not my last.
In this version it easily catches rust, but after all it's the carbon version. You have to be careful with the handle because it easily absorbs moisture and swells, which makes opening the knife difficult. I recommend it.
Light, handy, excellent. I recommend it, especially at this price!
Great product
Very well made, small, light, originally very sharp. The only flaw I found with this pocket knife is the lack of a blade lock. The knife is perfect to always carry in your pocket (even a suit pocket), just in case.
