The knife is beautifully finished and sharp. The lock works perfectly. It is pleasant to handle thanks to the well-made handle. Thank you for the quick shipping.
Lightweight folding knife featuring a blade length of 82 mm. The Clip-Point blade is manufactured from 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel and sports a semi-matte finish. Engineered with a full flat grind and minimal blade thickness, this knife offers excellent cutting performance.
A notch in the blade allows for easy opening, while the Virobloc lock keeps the blade securely in place. This steel ring, located at the pivot point on the handle, must be rotated after opening to cover the slot in the handle, ensuring the blade remains firmly locked. The locking mechanism also safeguards against accidental opening when the knife is closed.
The ergonomically designed handle is crafted from hornbeam wood and lacquered in a Khaki shade. The handle provides customization options: users can modify its texture, carve it, or stain it in a preferred color. A hole at the end of the handle is fitted with a leather strap.

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Opinel.
Opinel is a French knife brand whose history dates back to 1890 in Savoy. The founder, Joseph Opinel, created the first folding knife, No. 08, which quickly became a symbol of everyday use thanks to its simplicity and functionality. In 1955, the Virobloc locking system was introduced, later modernized, which is still the hallmark of the brand today. In 1985, Opinel was recognized by the Victoria and Albert Museum as one of the 100 best-designed objects in the world, and the brand's knives also found their way into the MoMA collection in New York. Production takes place in Chambery, with an emphasis on quality and ecology - the wood comes from French forests and the waste is used to heat the factory. Among the famous users was Pablo Picasso, who used Opinel for carving, and the knives themselves have become a symbol of simplicity, durability, and the French lifestyle.
