Lightweight folding knife featuring a blade length of 85 mm. The blade, crafted in a Clip-Point style, is made from INOX stainless steel. Designed with a full flat grind and a slim profile, the blade delivers excellent cutting performance.
A notch on the blade enables easy opening, while user safety is ensured by the presence of the Virobloc lock. This steel ring, attached to the handle at the pivot point, rotates several degrees to secure the blade slot, effectively stopping unwanted blade movement. The lock also prevents accidental opening.
The handle is constructed from Finnish birch wood, stained to a natural brown hue. Known for its exceptional resistance to breaking and cracking, the material is ergonomically contoured, offering a comfortable and secure grip in any situation.

In 1985, Opinel was recognized by the Victoria and Albert Museum as one of the 100 best-designed objects in the world, and the brand's knives also found their way into the MoMA collection in New York. Production takes place in Chambery, with an emphasis on quality and ecology - the wood comes from French forests and the waste is used to heat the factory.
