A classic and proven design. At this price, the knife is perfect. In this version, we have more interesting wood on the handle, which improves the visual appeal. I recommend it.

Lightweight folding knife featuring an 85 mm blade. The blade sports a Clip-Point profile and is crafted from 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel. The full flat grind of the blade, together with its minimal thickness, delivers excellent cutting performance.
A nail nick on the blade allows for easy one-handed opening, while the Virobloc lock provides reliable safety during operation. The steel collar, positioned at the pivot, is rotated slightly to block the blade slot in the handle, effectively locking the blade in place and preventing accidental opening or closing.
The handle is constructed from Finnish birch wood dyed in a rich red color. The selected material offers exceptional resistance to cracking and breaking. Ergonomically shaped, the handle ensures a secure and comfortable grip under all conditions.

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Opinel.
Opinel is a French knife brand whose history dates back to 1890 in Savoy. The founder, Joseph Opinel, created the first No. 08 folding knife, which quickly became a symbol of everyday use thanks to its simplicity and functionality. In 1955, the Virobloc locking system was introduced, later modernized, which remains a hallmark of the brand to this day. In 1985, Opinel was recognized by the Victoria and Albert Museum as one of the 100 best-designed objects in the world, and the brand's knives also became part of the collections of MoMA in New York. Production takes place in Chambery, with an emphasis on quality and ecology - the wood comes from French forests, and waste is used to heat the facility. Well-known users included Pablo Picasso, who used an Opinel for carving, and the knives themselves became a symbol of simplicity, durability, and the French way of life.
