As a beginner in sky observation, for now I can say that it's great for observing the Moon. It's easy to find and watch. As for stars, it's quite hard to catch any right away. You have to put in some effort and aim precisely. For now, I'll stick to observing the Moon, but everything is still ahead of me. I hope for a cloudless summer :D
A high-performance astronomical telescope crafted for home observation, ideal for both novice users and experienced stargazers alike.
Equipped with a primary mirror measuring 114 mm in diameter and offering a focal length of 1000 mm, the sturdy optical tube mounts securely on a full-sized aluminum tripod, featuring a parallactic EQ-III mount. Observers can accurately locate celestial bodies using coordinates from a star atlas. Fine tracking is facilitated by precise micro-adjustments, and the included aiming scope assists with target acquisition.
The Opticon Universe telescope enables observation of numerous Deep Space objects, including nebulae, galaxies, and globular star clusters. Suitable for planetary exploration as well, users can view features such as Jupiter's cloud bands, Saturn’s rings, or Mars’ disks. Thanks to the large mirror and a Barlow lens, users can study lunar surface features in detail, such as mountains, seas, valleys, and craters. A supplementary contrast filter enhances image clarity during full moon observations.
Every telescope comes with star charts, astronomy software, comprehensive guides, and access to a documentary film. All resources are accessible on a dedicated website, which can be reached by scanning the QR code on the leaflet included in the set. A straightening lens is also provided, transforming the device for landscape and nature observation.
Fully compatible with professional 1.25" standard components, enabling seamless upgrades with additional accessories.
