Opticon Zodiac 450x76 mm Telescope

Professional reflector telescope mounted on EQ-II tripod. Zodiac is ideal for both beginners, and thanks to additional expansion possibilities, it meets the expectations of those already experienced with sky observation.

The primary mirror with a diameter of 76 mm and a focal length of 900 mm provide excellent performance, which combined with high-quality lenses ensures bright, clear, and contrast-rich images of stars, planets, and the Moon. The equipment matches the highly successful Horizon EX model, and additionally surpasses it with the ability to conveniently track objects in the sky using precise micromovements. The EQ-II head facilitates locating objects in the sky based on coordinates read from a star atlas.

Thanks to the lens included in the set erecting lens the telescope can also function as an observation and landscape spotting scope.

The telescope is equipped with three interchangeable eyepieces and a Barlow lens that doubles the range of available magnifications. Zodiac allows the use of components in standard 1.25" enabling further expansion.

A QR code is included with the telescope (on the leaflet), which, when scanned, provides access to a sky map, computer programs, a practical guide, and a documentary film.
