Unfortunately, this compass is practically unusable. There is a bubble in the liquid inside that prevents the needle from rotating freely; this can be improved a bit by gently tapping it. In addition, the lighter striker may have become magnetized during storage, because regardless of its position the compass constantly points south. After removing the metal plate, it starts to point roughly north, but with a random deviation of about 20 degrees, probably due to the presence of bubbles.

Useful thing, I have already worn mine out because I needed the cord and bought another model from a more expensive brand, but honestly, there was no real need. You mainly carry such gadgets for the cord, and this product can be safely recommended: affordable price and great quality.
