A reproduction of a black powder rifle featuring a percussion lock, which stood as a formidable competitor to the Brown Bess rifle. Its lightweight, long-barreled construction, modeled after German designs renowned for their exceptional accuracy, established it as the most sought-after long gun among American colonists.
The Kentucky model boasts a .45 caliber barrel, measuring 35 9/16 inches and finished with blue oxide coating. Crafted from oiled walnut wood, the stock includes a patchbox ideal for storing patches or spare nipples, while the butt plate is encased in brass.
