Peli Air Case 1705 Transport Case - Black

Transport case in black color made from durable and damage-resistant material patented by Peli, a combination of HPX2 polymer materials. It effectively secures the contents during transport or storage. The model meets the IP67 sealing standard, protecting the contents from water and dust. Additionally, it is secured against mechanical damage and pressure changes, ensuring safe transport during air travel.

The casing is made from impact-resistant HPX2 resin using injection molding. The material is characterized by its high resistance to mechanical damage, deformation, and the effects of atmospheric conditions such as moisture, dust, and temperature fluctuations, while maintaining a low own weight. The construction secured with an O-ring meets the IP67 sealing standard, which means complete protection against dust and resistance to immersion in water up to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes.

The interior of the case is filled with resilient cushioning foam, which effectively absorbs shocks and protects the contents from mechanical damage. The structure of the inserts allows them to be adjusted to the shape of the transported equipment, increasing its stability and limiting movement during transport. The applied solution allows for individual customization of the protection level according to the type of transported equipment, which is important in the case of delicate, shock-resistant equipment.

The reinforced lid is closed using three sturdy self-locking clasps of the Press and Pull type, allowing for easy one-handed operation, with additional security provided by holes that allow the contents to be secured with padlocks. The open cargo space inside the case allows for flexible arrangement and organization of contents. Rubber-covered carrying handles are placed on both the longer and shorter sides, ensuring a secure grip. Additionally, a retractable carrying handle is located on the shorter side.

The case meets the requirements of MIL-SPEC certification, confirming the professional level of protection in transporting sensitive equipment - its resistance includes tests for low temperature, vibration, and vertical impact according to DEF STAN 81-41, a standard applied for military-grade equipment.

The case is equipped with an automatic pressure equalization valve, which compensates for pressure differences between the interior and the environment, facilitating opening after altitude or temperature changes. The valve body is made from ABS, and the venting element is made from hydrophobic Hi-Flow Gore-Tex nonwoven fabric, supporting tightness and reliable protection of equipment in demanding transport conditions.

The case is additionally equipped with wheels made from abrasion-resistant PU, which facilitate movement. The smooth operation of the wheels is ensured by steel ball bearings.
