Pentagon Nestor 2.5 Tactical Fleece - Wolf Grey

A fleece in grey colour, serving as a modified successor to the Nestor model. Developed for users who need a warm, breathable and durable garment with a uniform appearance. The monochromatic construction makes it easier to match the fleece with duty clothing and subdued-colour equipment used by soldiers, officers or security personnel.

The sweatshirt can be worn on its own in mild conditions or used as a mid layer under a jacket in lower temperatures. Thanks to compatibility with the MJC system, it can be combined with selected Pentagon jackets to create a coherent clothing set suited to the current weather and the type of activities performed.

Thermal insulation is provided by fluffy polyester fleece with a grammage of 320 g/m2. The fibre structure creates microscopic air spaces that trap heat generated by the body. As a result, the material provides effective protection against the cold while maintaining a relatively low weight.

The knit fabric used features a high CLO value, which determines the level of thermal insulation of the clothing. This parameter indicates a favourable ratio of thermal protection to material weight.

The open structure of the fabric supports air exchange and the transfer of excess heat and moisture to the outside. This helps reduce overheating during movement and improves comfort during prolonged use. The material dries quickly, which is important during field activities, long hours of duty and use in a layered system.

The fleece is equipped with 6 practical pockets:

• 2 sleeve pockets - intended for small accessories
• 2 chest pockets - provide quick access to the most necessary items
• 2 side pockets - can be used to warm the hands and store handy items

The pocket layout makes it easier to organise equipment and allows you to conveniently separate the small items you carry.

The front part of the fleece is equipped with a zipper placed along the entire length. It enables quick putting on and taking off of the sweatshirt as well as adjustment of the ventilation level. The high collar shields the neck from the cold and limits the inflow of cold air from above. When the fleece is fastened, it creates an additional insulating layer around the nape.

The sleeve cuffs are equipped with adjustment that allows their circumference to be changed. The fit limits the sleeves from rolling up and the inflow of cold air from the wrist area. 

The lower edge is finished with a fitted material that helps keep the fleece close to the torso. This limits the sweatshirt from riding up during movement, bending and work in various positions. The fitted bottom also helps retain warmth.

Flat seams increase comfort when wearing the fleece under a vest, jacket or duty clothing. Flat stitching reduces the risk of chafing and helps maintain even contact of the material with the body. Velcro panels are placed on the shoulders of the sweatshirt, allowing the attachment of patches, emblems and selected identification markings.

The Nestor 2.5 model is fully compatible with the MJC (Multiple Jackets Compatibility) system, which allows selected Pentagon clothing layers to be connected using appropriate zippers, fasteners and attachment points.

When integrated with a compatible outer jacket, the fleece can serve as an insulating layer. MJC makes it easier to adapt the configuration to the temperature and weather conditions. The fleece can be used on its own or combined with a suitable outer layer.
