Temperature and usage conditions
The operating temperatures of the Tac Maven Mummy sleeping bag are specified in accordance with EN 13537:
- T-limit: +6 deg. C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
- T-comfort: -3 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the whole night,
- T-extreme: -18 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which it is possible to survive in the sleeping bag. This is not a value recommended for standard use.
Durable Pongee polyester, Rip-Stop reinforcement, synthetic filling
The shell is constructed from tough, non-rustling Pongee 300T with Rip-Stop weave, while the interior features a lining crafted from Pongee 300T polyester. A lightweight layer of synthetic fiber filling at a density of 2x 180 g/m2 delivers effective thermal insulation without adding unnecessary weight. Stitching secures the insulation in place, guaranteeing uniform distribution throughout the sleeping bag. An interior pocket offers convenient storage for small essentials.
YKK zipper on the right side
A two-way zipper from the reputable YKK brand is installed on the right side of the sleeping bag, enabling it to be fully opened and simplifying both entry and exit.
Integrated hood for cold protection
The integrated hood secured with Velcro and the thermal collar come equipped with drawstrings to enhance fit and minimize heat escape. Additional Velcro panels in the collar area enable the attachment of a pillow.
