Petzl Aria 1 RGB Camo Headlamp - 350 lumens

Highly compact headlamp featuring an efficient LED that delivers intense white light with a brightness of 350 lumens and a maximum beam distance of up to 70 meters. Integrated with 3 white light modes and 2 RGB modes (red, green, blue). The housing is fully compatible with Helmet Adapt and Bike Adapt 2 mounting brackets.

Durable construction, standard IP67

Constructed from lightweight and durable plastic, the headlamp features a sealed housing that provides IP67-level waterproof protection—offering complete defense against dust penetration and permitting submersion in water for up to 30 minutes at depths of up to 1 meter. The head unit incorporates an adjustable tilt mechanism, enabling the light angle to be tailored to specific requirements.

White, red, green, and blue light

Equipped with high-performance LEDs, the headlamp delivers white light as well as red, green, and blue illumination. White light is ideal for tasks and daily use, while RGB modes are designed for nocturnal operations, signaling, and covert observation without impairing night-adapted vision. All lighting modes are accessed through a single button. A dedicated Lock function secures the headlamp against unintentional activation during transport.

    A solid, very bright flashlight. The strap adjustment has been improved compared to older Tikkina models, and switching light modes is simple and quick once you get used to it. The indicator LED showing the battery level is very convenient—green means it's fine, and it turns red when the battery is running low. But there are a few "buts": Opening the body to replace the battery could definitely be designed better. It's hard to open and also hard to close. To open it, I've sometimes had to pry the halves apart with a screwdriver because it wouldn't open otherwise. To close it, I have to make sure several times that it's closed properly, because you can hear a "click" that should mean it's shut, but later find it has opened and the batteries have fallen out. This isn't a big problem—unless you're changing batteries outdoors in the dark with cold hands. Despite this closing system, the battery compartment probably isn't waterproof. The second issue is that the flashlight is easily turned on accidentally by pressing against something in a pocket or backpack. I store mine with the switch turned toward the strap, but it doesn't lock in this position and it's easy for it to turn back. A solution is to carry the flashlight with the battery removed, but then you run into the problem of opening and closing it when you want to use it. I recommend getting the Petzl Core rechargeable battery; it's much easier to install than 3 small AAA batteries.

    Only the name is left from Petzl. Overcomplicated change of lighting modes. Difficult to adjust the light angle. It turns on easily by itself. I would choose a different one if I had to buy again.

    I have owned a Petzl Tikkina headlamp bought at Militaria.pl for 10 years and it still works flawlessly. Aria is a completely different "story", the world just moves forward.
