Super mat. On my last trip, where it was literally pouring, both my equipment and sleeping pad and sleeping bag stayed dry, even though there was a lot of water under the mat. The mat is well made and seems to be indestructible. Time will tell. For now, I recommend it as a floor under a tarp.

Mat bought before a trip to the mountains. After a few seasons of use, I'll write how it works, wears out, etc. At first glance, it looks excellent: thick canvas with a waterproof coating on the other side. Very high quality workmanship—everything is simple, even, with no loose threads. Brilliant idea with the loops (6 pieces) for attachment, so you can fasten the mat to the ground but also use it in an emergency as a sturdy tarp. A simple but ingenious idea with the elastic band that keeps the mat together when folded. It seems quite heavy in terms of weight, but the size and rubberized coating explain that. I think it should serve well for a long time.
