My first headlamp was a Petzel, of course the batteries leaked. Now I bought a Princeton, I have a comparison, and I think the one I have now is better, fits better, and has a red light. For those undecided, I recommend it.

Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam is an advanced camouflage design introduced in 2002 by Crye Precision, a US-based company, working in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. The pattern was engineered to deliver effective concealment across a broad range of terrains and fluctuating environmental settings. Incorporating seven distinct colors, the MultiCam pattern creates seamless transitions between greens, browns, and beiges. Such blending allows it to adjust dynamically to its surroundings—displaying green hues in wooded areas and adopting brown and beige tones in arid or desert landscapes. In Central and Eastern Europe, MultiCam excels during autumn and in regions with dry foliage. The pattern has achieved global acclaim, becoming standard issue among numerous military and special operations units. In 2010, the US Army officially selected MultiCam for troops deployed to Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Civilian availability has also made it a favored option among military enthusiasts and airsoft players.

Great tactical headlamp. One of the few for more covert operation - it starts with red modes (from weaker), but after holding the switch longer, there are white modes. That's what I needed. Flawless workmanship. I haven't tested the waterproofness yet. Expensive but highly recommend.

I have been using this headlamp for many months and it has never let me down. The red light can be turned on first, which is very helpful when you don't want to reveal your position.
