Protektor Grom Plus 01 Boots - Brown

I own Alfy+ and I'm very pleased with them. But encouraged by my son's recommendation, I bought these for myself. And I wasn't disappointed. They are quite wide and very comfortable. The only thing I changed was the insole. They are lightweight and my feet are not tired after wearing them all day. I use them for walking around the city, for work, and for the forest. They hold the ankle well and my foot feels comfortably supported. And what's important, these are Polish shoes. I recommend them.

These shoes are lightweight and competitively priced. Thanks to the membrane, they are warmer than their counterparts, and with annual impregnation, they do not soak through on wet grass and in snow. I recommend immediately buying and replacing the insoles, because the original ones are very thin.

Opinion after a year of use. First of all, the insoles are too thin. After a week they start to fold. I had to glue them. After a few months, despite impregnation, the shoes started to absorb water. After a year and multiple impregnations, they soak up water like a sponge. Even dew is enough for them to get wet. Unfortunately, the company has gone downhill. My previous protectors lasted five years and nothing ever happened to them. One star because they are comfortable. However, I definitely do not recommend them.

Good shoes, solid, practically all-season, they adapt to the foot and breathe even at high temperatures. I use them in really tough conditions and they perform well.

Shoes bought in December 2022; worn for 2 years; used for walking and sitting at school, for the mountains, in summer, in winter, for riding a motorcycle. Currently looking for another pair. The shoes breathe, don’t smell, and were also worn in the heat. I recommend them; they are worth their price. Used daily without any special care. Others fell apart after a year with such use :)

A class of their own. No need to break them in, you can walk comfortably right away. Interesting construction, the shoes do not have a loose 'tongue' at the front, the entire structure is cohesive and you just slip your foot inside. That's one of the reasons why they're warm on cloudy days. Only the sizing is surprising—I recommend choosing one size larger.

It's a pity that when I was in the army, I couldn’t serve in these shoes. They are very strong and at the same time soft. They adapt quickly to the foot. Practically after the first walk you don’t feel any discomfort. The craftsmanship of these shoes is at a very high level.

Bought a week ago, to replace the standard-issue boots. I have wide feet and have to look for suitable shoes. These boots fit perfectly! They're not heavy, the leather is soft. Comfortable to walk in. Nicely and well-made. They're high. An added bonus is the membrane, although my feet still sweat a bit. I immediately ditched the insole that comes with the boots because it folds when walking. I used an insole from Bona (sports shoes). The laces do not untie, which is important for military use. In general, I recommend them. I ordered more from this collection. Thanks to the manufacturer and store!

I'm already using my second pair of these shoes (uniformed services). The first pair lasted 9 years and if it weren't for the worn-out material on the heel from putting them on, I would probably still have them. Really very solid shoes. I can compare them to other much more expensive brands. Very good for black tactics, they are quiet and comfortable. I sincerely recommend them.

Awesome, reliable, I’ve had them for 4 years already and I sincerely recommend them with all my heart. I’ve been almost everywhere in them. If these wear out, I’ll buy another pair without hesitation. If someone needs nice shoes, this is the perfect choice. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give them 10/10.

The shoes are not as durable as the legend claims. The upper tore when putting them on. The complaint was not accepted. I wore the shoes a few times. For tactical shoes that are supposed to withstand much more than classic ones, they perform very poorly. I will never buy shoes from this company again. I advise against buying because of the lack of possibility for complaint.

Light and comfortable.

Great shoes. Light and, importantly, they feel the same when walking. They give the impression that they help when walking. After the first walk, the shoes are basically already broken in. The sole feels like it’s glued to the ground while walking. And what’s important to me is that it’s a Polish product. The price is low compared to the quality.

Grom Plus 01 are my next shoes from the ‘stable’ of Protektor. Previously, I used Alfa+; compared to Alfa+, these are noticeably better: quality of finishing, inside, the shoe is soft and pleasant to walk in. Previously I chose size 43, which was a bit too big, now I chose 42, and that was spot on—the shoe fits my foot perfectly. The membrane does its job. I expect several more years of use (I wore Alfa+ until the tread was completely worn out, which happened after 3 years, about 3,000 kilometers).

After long-distance marches, I can say they don’t get wet. Light and comfortable.
