Pulsar Merger DUO NXP 50 Multispectral Binoculars
Multispectral binoculars featuring thermal imaging and night vision capabilities. The thermal imaging mode enables detection of heat-emitting objects with a human silhouette at distances of up to 2,000 meters, while the night vision mode allows for observation of the environment at ranges reaching 500 m. Additionally, the binoculars are fitted with a stadiametric rangefinder, simplifying the process of determining the approximate distance to targets of a known size.
Rugged construction, IPX7 standard
Constructed with a durable magnesium alloy housing, the binoculars exhibit high resistance to mechanical impacts and shocks. Featuring a compact build and gasket seals, the unit achieves the IPX7 waterproof rating, ensuring protection against water immersion up to 1 meter deep for as long as 30 minutes. Operational reliability is maintained within a temperature range of -25 to +50 degrees.
Amoled HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels, night vision and thermal imaging channel
The Merger DUO NXP 50 features a thermal sensor delivering a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and a pixel pitch of 17 µm. With a sensor sensitivity capable of detecting temperature differences below 25 mK, users are ensured exceptional detail. Night vision performance is supported by a CMOS sensor boasting Full HD 1920x1200 resolution. Visualization is achieved through an AMOLED HD display, offering a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels. The high-contrast screen enhances color fidelity, energy efficiency, rapid response, and delivers smooth imagery, even in subzero temperatures. A 50 Hz refresh rate ensures effortless tracking of moving subjects. The thermal channel provides magnification from 3x to 24x, while the night vision channel covers 2x to 16x. Equipped with a detachable infrared illuminator featuring a 940 nm beam, the device produces clear imaging even in complete darkness, keeping the observer concealed from wildlife.
Smoothing filter, Picture in Picture mode, stadiameter rangefinder
The smoothing filter feature enables minimized digital distortion while preserving optimal sensitivity. Picture in Picture functionality lets you magnify the center area of the image within a dedicated window, which takes up just 10% of the full display surface. Users can also view images from both optical channels—night vision and thermal imaging—at the same time. For added convenience, the binoculars include diopter adjustment ranging from -5 to +5.
The DUO NXP 50 comes with a stadiametric rangefinder for quick and reliable estimation of the distance to targets of known size.
8 image display modes
Equipped with eight distinct image display modes, the thermal imaging binoculars ensure rapid recognition and precise identification of observed targets:
- White Hot – optimized for detecting targets
- Black Hot – ideal for spotting heat signatures
- Hot Red – designed for efficient object detection
- RedMonochrome – specialized for prolonged night surveillance
- Rainbow – tailored for object recognition and identification
- Ultramarine – enhances identification and recognition accuracy
- Violet – suited for extended night-time observation
- Sepia – perfect for lengthy night monitoring sessions
Wi-Fi module, 64 GB internal memory
The device is equipped with a function for storing images or videos on the built-in 64GB internal memory. Files saved on the device can be transferred to a PC via USB cable, or wirelessly to a smartphone or tablet through the integrated Wi-Fi module. This functionality enables users to utilize, for instance, a smartphone with the StreamVision 2 app as an external display or for remote device control.
Battery power supply
Equipped with a replaceable APS3 3200 mAh battery (set) alongside an integrated 4000 mAh battery, the binoculars offer up to 7.5 hours of continuous operation. A USB Type-C port enables connection to an external powerbank, further extending operational time. The Display OFF power-saving function conserves energy by automatically switching off the display when the device is briefly taken away from your eyes.

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Pulsar.
Pulsar, part of the European Yukon Group, is a brand of thermal imaging and day/night digital optics based in Lithuania. It was founded in 1991 by a group of enthusiasts who assembled their first devices in a basement, and today employs over 1200 people and operates in more than 70 countries. All Pulsar products are manufactured in Europe, and the brand has become famous for innovations such as digital sights with a one-shot zero function for quick zeroing, and Dual-Purpose solutions that combine the functions of a monocular and a sight. Its modernity is also emphasized by the Stream Vision 2 app, which allows devices to be connected to smartphones via Wi-Fi for remote control, image transfer, and software updates. In 2005, Yukon Group was the first company to introduce digital night vision sights to the civilian market, initiating a new era of accessible optoelectronics. In 2012, the first mass-produced thermal imaging monocular for civilians, the Quantum, was released, followed in 2019 by the compact Axion XM30, capable of detecting a human silhouette from a distance of 1350 meters in complete darkness.
