Thermal imaging scope equipped with a 30 mm tube diameter offers 3x optical magnification, expandable up to 12x digitally. The combination of a high-sensitivity sensor and premium germanium lens enables detection of human-sized objects at distances reaching 1800 meters. Suitable for both night and daytime shooting, the device also features a stadiametric rangefinder for precise distance measurement to targets of known size.
The scope’s housing is crafted from a highly durable aluminum alloy, providing resistance against mechanical impacts and recoil up to 6000 J. Thanks to its compact form and the application of sealing gaskets, the scope complies with the IPX7 waterproof standard, protecting against water ingress at depths of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. The device ensures reliable performance within an operating temperature range of -25 to +50 degrees Celsius.
A sensor featuring a resolution of 384x288 pixels (with 17 µm pixel size) and an advanced NETD sensor boasting sensitivity under 25 mK guarantee detailed recognition even in challenging weather conditions.
The device supports a range of electronically displayed reticles within its internal memory. Ten reticle types are available in various shapes and four different colors. The internal memory allows for storing individual ballistic profiles for ten separate distances. This greatly assists shooters in conducting precise measurements and aiming for increased accuracy with multiple weapons using the same optic. For enhanced target acquisition in diverse field conditions, a palette of eight different image color modes is available.Display color modes include White Hot, Black Hot, Hot Red, RedMonochrome, Rainbow, Ultramarine, Violet, and Sepia.
Power is provided by two batteries: a built-in unit with 4900 mAh capacity, and a quick-change APS2 battery with 2000 mAh capacity installed in place of the turret. An included extension cover allows operation with an optional APS3 battery (3200 mAh). Compatibility with a conventional powerbank is also supported. Battery runtime is extended by the "Display OFF" function, which switches the display on or off without fully shutting down the device—to conserve battery and help maintain concealment in low-light conditions.
A thermal lens offering a 50 mm focal length and F1.0 aperture significantly boosts long-range object observation quality.
The unit comes equipped with a built-in photo and video recorder with a storage capacity of 16 GB.. A USB-C port is provided for transferring recordings from the thermal imager to a computer. Outfitted with a robust AMOLED display, the device delivers HD resolution (1024x768 pixels) and remains highly resistant to low temperatures, ensuring operation even under extreme conditions. Picture-in-picture mode enables magnification of the central image in a dedicated window occupying just 10% of the display area.
Thermion thermal imaging optics can connect to external mobile devices,enabling image viewing, control of thermal imaging features, and live streaming via the free Polish-language application StreamVision 2—including direct streaming to YouTube.
